Community Minded

At Lee Silao’s studio, students develop not only as soloists but also as collaborative musicians. Playing with peers in ensemble settings fosters essential skills in listening, balance, and communication — qualities that are just as important as individual performance.

  • The quality of lessons surpassed my expectations. Having Debbie as my teacher made me want to do better as a cello player

    Briana, 17

  • What I like the most about Debbie's lessons is that it is personal and there is a lot of progress in each lesson. I have seen myself improve significantly when it comes to playing cello.

    Jacob, 14

  • Debbie is so kind and helpful, an amazing teacher! She's an awesome person and I always felt respected, and her techniques were so incredibly useful for the development of my skills.

    Gaia, 17

  • Ms. Debbie helped my 10-year old daughter prepare for her middle school orchestra audition. We only had a few lessons before the audition, but she was patient and gave clear instructions. The tips and corrections she gave to my daughter helped her performance tremendously, and my daughter made it into the orchestra! She was great!

  • I gave a five star review because Ms. Debbie is an awesome teacher. She explained everything out in an easy way to understand. I got a new cello and she helped me put on my finger tape as well. When I was done playing my songs she helped me work on the parts I needed to work on and get it down.
